The international book exhibition which is annually held at BMICH is an important event in every book lovers’ calendar. This year it was held from 16 – 25th September. Tickets were priced at LKR 20 which was pleasantly a bookmark! Book enthusiasts were flocked around stalls that varied from second hand books, novels to stationery. Highlight is that you can find any book that you could not lay your hands on before. Whether it’s an old classic or a new limited edition book you can be sure to find it. Another plus point is the special discounts that we all love! Finally it’s a festival where you meet all your old friends and distant relatives, getting lost in a world of wonderful literature. On the way to BMICH a few places such as the Colombo Courtyard one of the boutique hotels in Colombo, shopping malls such as the Majestic City, House of Fashion and Liberty Plaza caught the attention of many.
