Google launches 360 – degree view of Dubai landmarks for UAE National Day – Dubai takes pride in its historic landmarks

Search engine giant, Google recently launched a 360-degree view of over 40 landmarks in Dubai, in time for the UAE National Day, on 02nd December. Everyone around the world can now take a virtual tour of the country and see some of its most iconic sites like the Dubai Mall, Underwater Zoo, Gold Souk and even several 5 star resorts in Dubai, such as the uniquely designed, Anantara The Palm Dubai Resort, for example. Users can access the sites through Street View on Google Maps, which allows viewers to see 360-degree imagery of streets around the world. The launch was another addition to Street View Special Collects, a segment of Google Maps which is dedicated to 360 degree imagery of famous landmarks around the world. Street View was first initiated in Dubai back in 2013, with a 360 degree view of the Burj Khalifa.
