Showcasing the best teams in world cricket, the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 is set to take place in both Australia and New Zealand. Featuring the International Cricket Council’s 10 full members as well as qualifying teams from the associate and affiliate members, this event will begin on February 14th and end with the finals to be played at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) on March 29th. Cricket fans can opt to make use of world cup offers to witness the excitement of the tournament, including a package to the finals offered by Mackinnons Travels Sri Lanka, a leading Sri Lanka travel agent in the island.
Taking place once every four years, the ICC Cricket World Cup has seen varying formats being used; the 2015 edition will feature two pools with seven teams each. India, the reigning champions will look to defend their title while home teams Australia and New Zealand will look to use familiar conditions to their advantage.
