Jordanian HRH Crown Prince Hussein, along with HRH Princess Rajwa Al Hussein, attended the opening of a Jordanian exhibition at Singapore’s Gardens by the Bay. This was an important event for the exchange of tourism between Jordan and Singapore. During the visit, the Royal Highnesses went on a tour of the exhibit, which aimed to promote Jordanian tourism and showcase cultural heritage.
The exhibition presents models of Jordanian archaeological sites, photographic displays, and mosaic artefacts from the Church of St. Stephen in Umm Ar Rasas. Visitors can also explore Jordan’s diverse flora, Dead Sea products, and artisanal crafts from the Bani Hamida Women Weaving Project and the Jordan River Foundation. The month-long exhibition, organized by Jordan’s embassy in Singapore in collaboration with the Jordan Tourism Board and the Royal Botanic Garden, received tremendous support. Gardens by the Bay, a prominent Singaporean attraction, welcomed the initiative, signing memoranda of understanding with key entities during the exhibition’s opening. The event was attended by Jordan’s Ambassador to Singapore, Samer Naber. Those flying in enjoyed the comforts of Singapore boutique hotels the likes of Venue Hotel SG, which provided excellent bases from which to access the exhibition.
