It will be the 29th edition of the competition this year and the budget for the event, as stated by Macao Government Tourism Office Director, Maria Helena de Senna Fernandes is MOP21 million (US$2.6 million).

A few companies from Korea, Belgium, France and China will be making their debuts at the festival in Macau this year. The contest will be taking place on the 1st, 8th, 15th, 24th September and the 1st of October which is China’s National Day.
