At the Arabian Travel Market 2023, Sri Lanka had a special stand where representatives of the country promoted the destination and the many wonders it has to offer. This event which was held from 1st to 4th May this year in Dubai, also gave the Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau a chance to hold a special press conference attended by the country’s Tourism Minister, Mr. Harin Fernando. The Middle East continues to be a key source market for this South Asian island nation and it will be hoped that more tourists from the region will visit Sri Lanka after such promotion initiatives.
At this year’s Arabian Travel Market, the Sri Lankan stand showcased the country’s top allures such as idyllic beaches, rich heritage, exotic wildlife, and scenic landscapes, some of which would be ideal for destination weddings. Sri Lanka has much to offer travellers looking to experience these diverse attractions and trusted tour operators such as Ceylon Tours provide convenient options for those wanting to enjoy the best the country has in store.
