Having fully reopened for tourists, Thailand has been subsequently easing its entry protocols too making it easier for travellers planning a holiday here. From 1st June 2022, the Thailand Pass registration process was simplified by the country’s Centre for COVID-19 Situation Administration, while those fully vaccinated are free to travel anywhere after the mandatory entry screening. Partially vaccinated or unvaccinated tourists who upload a negative result of a professional ATK or RT-PCR test taken within 72 hours of travel using the Thailand Pass system, are also free to go to any destination after arrival.
It is hoped that such relaxing of the entry protocols will draw more tourists in the months to come. Those who visit can enjoy access to popular destinations once more including Krabi; resort hotel options can be found here that are SHA Extra+ certified such as Avani+ Koh Lanta Krabi Resort which has strict health and hygiene measures that ensure safe stays as well.
