Trader Vic’s wins the “Specialty Cuisine” category award at the 19th Bangkok Best Restaurant Awards

Celebrating its 19th successful venture, the Bangkok Best Restaurant Awards was held on 20th June 2017. A dining and entertainment event that featured 36 participating venues, prestigious awards and live band performances, the Bangkok Best Restaurant Awards attracted over 1000 guests; these included dignitaries, industry giants and prominent figures of the business community. Famous as an ideal destination for Bangkok river dining, the Trader Vic’s restaurant at Anantara Riverside Bangkok Resort won the Specialty Cuisine category award at the ceremony. Providing guests flavoursome delicacies prepared in Bangkok’s only Chinese wood-fired oven, the Trader Vic’s restaurant also features a Polynesian inspired dining room and riverside garden that offer a magnificent tropical ambience. Along with Trader Vic’s signature Mai Tai cocktails, the restaurant is also reputed amongst local and international guests for its magnificent waterfront views. Apart from the Specialty Cuisine award, other accolades were handed out as well at the Bangkok Best Restaurant Awards which also featured a gourmet banquet.
