Visit Maldives Conducts a Joint Webinar with Qatar Airways Targeting the Swiss Market – Capturing new markets

Visit Maldives recently had organised a joint webinar with Qatar Airways with the prime objective of promoting the Maldives as a safe destination to travel to even amidst the pandemic. The main target group included travel agents and tour operators from Switzerland. Over 400 agents took part in the virtual platform and a lot of insights were shared among all parties.

Every luxury hotel in Maldives the likes of Velassaru Maldives has already started welcoming international guests, and they operate under the guidance and supervision of the public health officials of the country. These facts, and all other health and safety measures were described in this webinar in detail. Rules and regulations for Swiss travellers to come to the Maldives were also carefully described by the speakers. This will help both the Maldives and Qatar Airways to receive more numbers of Swiss travellers in the future to benefit them with revenue.
