South-West China to become a new Economic Hub-New Silk Route

The Chinese province of Yunnan has a rich history of around 2000 years of been the route tea and other goods were traded. The south west china silk route spread across thousand miles to Europe. The president of China Xi Jinping announced the plan of recreating the Silk Road with modern network of high speed rails, pipelines, motorways as well as fiber optic cables that stretch across the region. The country’s plan to become the economic hub of South East Asia will help develop the underdeveloped parts of China and the unstable countries in Asia as well as bordering countries like Vietnam, Mynmar and Laos.
