Strategic Agreement Between Maldives & Thomas Cook India Targets Tourists

As reported on 25th January 2021 by Travel Trends Today, the Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) has signed a strategic agreement with Thomas Cook India; through this agreement, the Maldives will be highlighted as an ideal destination for Indians which is hoped will increase tourist arrivals. With the country following stringent health and hygiene protocols including at resorts such as Naladhu Private Island Maldives, it is a safe choice for holidaymakers too.

Be it for fun family vacations or romantic retreats on private islands, Maldives offers much to experience and many Indians enjoyed holidays here last year; in fact, India was the top market in 2020 for arrivals to this Indian Ocean nation. As per the Holiday Readiness Report of Thomas Cook India published last December, Indians are continuing to seek getaways abroad in 2021; it will be hoped that the increased promotions of the Maldives will see visitor numbers surge in the coming months.
