While Thailand reopened its international borders this year, it has subsequently made several updates to the entry requirements; as of 1st April 2022, tourists no longer must show a negative result of an RT-PCR test taken within 72 hours of departing to Thailand. The country is offering quarantine free entry to fully vaccinated tourists under the Test & Go and Sandbox initiatives and a chance to holiday at popular destinations like Koh Samui once more.
Adding to the convenience for such travellers is that accommodation providers are offering special Test & Go packages as well for those looking to enjoy holidays in Koh Samui. Luxury hotel properties beside the beach such as SAii Koh Samui Choengmon are amongst the SHA Plus+ certified resorts where one can stay using such packages; it includes an RT-PCR Test (for day one), an antigen test kit (for day five), safe roundtrip transfers between Samui International Airport and daily breakfast.
