According to the Director of the Mauritius Tourism Promotion Authority (MTPA), travellers from South Africa can now travel to Mauritius without having to undergo the mandatory quarantine period. These travellers, if they are fully vaccinated, can travel to Mauritius on an authorized commercial flight and stay at any hotel of their choice. If the travellers are not fully vaccinated, quarantine will be arranged at a state-designated facility.
